Michael Pierce is more suited to be nose tackles. They might be able to play a 1 technique in a 4-3 well but not a 3 technique. It doesn't maximize their strengths. 4-3 DT = 3-4 DE in terms of build, size, and skillset. Nose tackle on the other hand is a completely different story.
The new Secondary Position Chem is a total stopgap for this. I doubt they will add that in this year, frankly I'm surprised they added the chem in. But being able to put Clowney at LE/RE without losing his chems did give me a lot of roster flexibility and now I don't have to sub everyone around to play base 4-3.
Looks like a nice 3-tech run stuffer
Amazing 3-4 end, would be a solid 4-3 DT as well.
If that’s what you want, Calais Campbell is your guy
He can’t rush the passer he can only stop the run but that will be ok
He has no pass rush but he can sure set the edge and stop the run. But the Rams run a 3-4 and I run a 4-3 so he doesn't fit my scheme
He’d be a solid 4-3 run stopping DT but there are better options for 4-3 DTs.
Yeah like Micheal Pierce and Kenny Clark or shelden rankins from this same promo

ENOUGH FROM THE CLOWNS!!! Give.Us.REs.Or.No.Side-specific.Positions
They're gonna put that in, actually. Well, at least in some cases. Future updates to come, I think.
I know, I have Ed Jones at RE opposite of Reggie White. Not gonna lie, he feasts on the run
Might pick him up. I play hybrid 3-4/4-3 and he could bump inside easily. Better than my free Q. Williams.
I use the Giants D (cause of their dime package) and the 4-4 is pretty potent, ngl
I tried giants earlier in the year. I never touched dime. What did I miss?

Do you know if the chem that allows you to place like a LE or something at RE and it'll keep its chems, does that apply to overall or just chemistry
It just allows for complete flexibility. So you can have Von at DE or OLB.
Just Chems
Great run-stopper in base 3-4, you'll notice him in the backfield a lot.
Decent card for lower squads I’m good with my Julius Peppers fully powered up 94 he fckn does it all stop the run and feasts on the pass
Really bad no pass rush and barely stops any run do not get him
