OH yeah and i think this at bat (his first major league at bat wraps Bo Jackson up in a nut shell. What do we see? Excellent hand eye coordination, bat speed, bat power, patience at the plate and oh the speed ..this isn't that slow of a ground ball and it's not even close.

Yes i will have to agree but first i think you will agree when we explain to these youngsters that Bo did what he wanted to do. If your the documentary I believe it's called "you don't know Bo" first of all he could of played pretty much any position in football or baseball and i'm not even exaggerating. QB probably not, but maybe. Secondly, it came to so fracking easy to him he NEVER EVEN practiced, not cause he was lazy or didn't want to let his teammates down, he just did't need to. He didn't. He was a freak of nature....could of he of been the back RB of all time? Absolutely, he could of been the best of a lot of things. I just don't think he really had that fire because nothing was ever a challenge. For example, i got to watch him run that what 91 yard sweep play against Seattle on Monday or a Sunday night . I was in the stadium and even with Bo running, everyone kind of relaxed and thought the plays was over and he wasn't going to make the corner. Well, if you have seen the play oh ..he made the corner, then he made the tunnel when he ran past the entire Seattle secondary (all who had advantageous angles on him and it was not even close. Not for a second. Did i mention that that Bo weighed 250 lbs ? Oh and you see that blur of a defender? Number 45? Oh well, that is just Kenny Easley a HOF corner back with 4.4 speed and one of the best in his generation. What i find so amazing is just how much faster he is with the angle they have and how much bigger he is, not to mention that a few of these guys were top ten fastest in the league a few years.
In summation, for those of you who didn't get to see Bo, i feel genuinely bad for. He was something else. He really didn't have amazing football stats but if you read and do an ounce of research you will see that he said he was clocked electronically at a 4.16 -40 yard dash. (his 40 is of debate cause is was tracked at 4.13 at the draft but time was added to it cause it wasnt' done electronically. Bo is /was a very humble man, and for him to make that up..is just absolutely i think, ludicrous. Besides he didn't really care all that much anyway. lol. So was he a better all around athlete than gurley? You tell me.

You’re facts are absolutely right on the money... There’s things about Bo Jackson that many people don’t know about. For example, one thing that many people didn’t know about Bo, was that he never played a full N.F.L. season, due to his baseball commitment he wasn’t eligible to join the Raiders at the start of the season, so he always had to miss 5 weeks before he could officially join the Raiders in week 6, and even after missing 5 games he still managed to rush for an impressive 950 yards falling just 50 yards short of reaching the 1,000 yard milestone, but regardless of all that, he still was good enough to earn a spot in the pro-bowl. I really do feel for those who didn’t get the opportunity to witness Bo Jackson do the things he did. It’s crazy to believe that in just 4 yrs. of playing part time football for the Raiders that he was able to leave a legacy that I, for one don’t think anybody will ever be able to even get close to what he did, not to mention that he did it in such a short time, which only makes you think and wonder about all the what if’s and all the what could've’s if only, it wasn’t for that one particular play that ended a short career in which he managed to get selected to the N.F.L. Pro-Bowl and what’s even more fucking impressive was that not only did he also get voted to the M.L.B. All-Star Game he was also named the M.V.P. of the game, becoming the only athlete in sports history to be named an All-Star in two major sports, pretty much setting the bar that will never be matched, but there’s still one thing that really made Bo Jackson so fucking incredibly special, and it wasn’t his incredible athletic ability to effortlessly do unbelievable things, that not even a person who practiced hard every day will be able to do.
The thing that really made Vincent “BO” Jackson so fucking special was his amazing character and humbling demeanor that was never overtaken by any of the elements that come with fame, money, and success.... Which is why he’s so fucking special, because he never changed considering how extremely famous he became!!
