Such a random card, I love it. Maybe it’s cause I’m a Giants fan, but it’d be cool to get more cards like this in the future. Clearly he was never a “96 OVR” player, but he had one of the most memorable moments in Super Bowl History. Instead of getting the same 12 super bowl past cards every year, stuff like this keeps it unique.
It’s odd to find people who get why ea makes certain cards, but you have stated it beautifully, and I thank you for that.

It's not random. The Tyree catch and the Immaculate Reception were the two of the finalists for the best moment in the NFL's first 100 years. Thus, the Tyree and Harris cards.

EA has put a insane amount new players in the game this yr for the NFL's 100th season. Wouldn't be shocked at all if alot of these players turned into one offs

So, are you saying you would've been OK with him releasing at the start of the SB PAST promo with a significantly lower rating? IMO, "honoring" players for a particular key play should take place at the beginning of the promo and they should've released several other players along with these with their OVR's decided by the actual skill of the player rather than the importance of the play they made.

Well, you can easily hit 50/50 and max out a physical chem with the Ravens. That's not the case if you make a best player available lineup (can't max out team chem) or a theme team that's not the Ravens or the Niners (can't easily max out physical chems).
The Ravens theme team is one of the most ridiculous in MUT even though your team has existed for only 25 years as opposed to the 95 years the Giants have been around.
The fact that Harry Carson, Carl Banks, Tiki Barber, Jessie Armstead, Rosey Brown, Mel Hein and dozens of other Giants Legends aren't in the game is a travesty.
