One thing you neglect is that a fullback of old is essentially what a halfback of old is and vice versa. Roles have reversed. The term fullback literally means the running back furthest back in the formation, the halfback is half way between that running back and the LOS. So yes Brown and Okoye used to be fullbacks but in the modern era or at least MUT classification they are classed as the same as the likes of Zeke, Barkley etc etc
Okoye played in the 80s and 90s not when they had leather helmets and he played HB. EA got Okoye wrong. I watched this guy play. I have no idea how Deion Sanders and Ed Reid weren't unanimous selections, they were the best players who ever lived at their positions. Deion wasn't even a unanimous selection as one of the two return men. That's insane. Willie Brown isn't even in the Hall of Fame and he was a unanimous selection. And Ed was actually a FS who preferred playing on the strong side. I don't think anyone believes Bernard Pollard was a weak safety or Free Safety. Ed was so good he was Free to play where he wanted in the formation. Same with Ronnie Lott who played Strong Safety and did it in an era of big hitting big safeties like Steve Atwater and Kenny Easley. Lott out hit them at 190lbs. Lott should be SS and Ed FS and you shouldn't get penalized for playing them in any formation. I played SS and Money Backer in HS and College I know their positions I grew up watching these guys play.
