I think we are stuck with the gameplay sadly. If they haven't been able to fix it by now then it can't be fixed in-season. 

I also agree that the blocking glitches needs to be fixed. I run a smashmouth offense and can't count how many times one of my linemen lets a defender run right by him to tackle me. Even more annoying is when a teammate is running next to me - even bumping me - and trips me when there are no defenders even close to me.
