Exactly. I don't know where the argument is? A slight boost in speed, acceleration and zone with better catching abilities. But Adam's is legit better at everything else and due to Reeds inability to receive enforcer or secure tackler he is a much worst option as a user as well. If you run a lot of zone and never user your SS than Reed is better but that's the only reason at all he would be.
Good point for the juke and spin. But you're naive to think any end game reed will shit on an end game Adam's. It's all about scheme. If you want to focus more on stopping the run Adam's will ALWAYS be the better option. If you're more focused on protecting from the pass than Reed is the better option.
They had to gimp reed in one way. Did you even watch him play? He was a good all around do it safety, coverage nothing needs to be said, was a hard hitter and good inside or out the box. Current hit power 87 so will be over 90 when it’s said and done. Reed isn’t bad at stopping the run and much better in coverage. Comparing their mut 19 ultimate cards reed shits on Adams lol so what Adams has a little more tackle and hit power, the rest reed. Reed can play in any scheme fyi
I'm talking about in game not IRL. I grew up on Reed, man was the greatest ball hawk to ever play the game hands down. But in game Adam's has higher block shed, hit power and tackle. Not to mention being a run stopper archetype opens up abilities to him that Reed won't be able to obtain until his UL such as reach elite and out my way.
Not just that, he’s gonna be in a more favorable match up, typically against a slower TE with low/mid 80’s route running or a hb with even lower route running
Also just checked, Adam's is 15 lbs heavier although that isn't much, in a game where your ability to tackle is reinforced based on size and weight comparisons as well as factoring tackle and break tackle into play ed reed will have a hell of a rough time trying to bring down saquon, chubb, fournette, Bo pretty much all of the commonly used backs in the game right now.
Reed>Adams
Better tackling, higher hit power, better man coverage. He’s the better choice

Also better juke spin more pick 6’s, and reeds tackle and hit power is respectable for what is. End game reed will shit on any Adams card.

Sub LB. Adams is a better sub lb than Reed
Agreed. Adam's is like a 93 or 94 at sub LB, even my Deion Jones and Shaz are only 91s in the position.
