I run the "Multiple D" playbook on defense. I usually consider the 4-3 formation my base defense. But if my opponent has a run-heavy game or I need to bring additional pressure, I switch to a 3-4 or a 3-3-5 wide nickel formation. In these cases, I use Lawrence Taylor and Von Miller as my OLBs. Now I really like Von for the +2 block shed. But since I have PU T4 version of Mack chilling in my depth chart, I was wondering if I should pull the trigger and upgrade him. Now would he make a big impact in the ways I described my use of Von?
