This happens with every young athletic quarterback. Then some team member hits the QB, and for the first time in Lamar Jackson's life he will be a pocket passer due to injury. Once this happens, then teams will see what it takes to slow down his pocket passing, using a gameplan / formula against him (cover 0,1 man, cover 3, 6, 9, or cover 2 & 4 mix up looks). At this point, then the real game begins. RG3 crumbled when this happened, and could not over come the adversity with his injury... at this point nothing has broken Lamar Jackson, making him look similar to Michael Vick. However, at some point he will take a hit that slows him down, then his hand will be revealed for how he he is a pure pocket passer (my point is Michael Vick never went to back to back years in the playoffs, and never won a super bowl). Why? Vick was amazing, but would take that occasional hit or awkward play and sprain something... Vick would have unstoppable moments, but ultimately he couldn't get it done week-in and week-out when defenses are deep, and can throw looks at the QB that confuse him when the pocket is the only option... jury is still out on Lamar Jackson. I hope he does well, but jury is out for now! (I think Lamar is such a class act too, so I hope he's greater than anyone mentioned in this paragraph)
