Considering my top 3 CB's are NTL, Bo, and T5 Champ while my LB trio is TOTY David, TOTY NAT Wags, and Brooks at LOLB I'm almost always in 4-6 normal. If I'm really concerned about them getting deep on me I'll just drop my SS (Lott) back with 4-3 normal. My LB's are good enough in coverage (tier 4 R+R and Motivator Mathieu, all 91+ zone) that I don't see an advantage bringing Champ in but I do get a noticeable deficiency defending the run.
Like someone else said if you grab him play him OOP at DE. I don't think there's a negative to playing guys OOP other than losing the chem. Which I think if you can play a guy in the position you should get the chem for it. Or atleast remove side designations and make it DE/OLB. You can get around it though by starting players for chem purposes and subbing in who you want to actually play. I'm currently doing this with Ware/Von at DE's after I got Ware today.
