In my opinion, I’d rather have the good cards now rather than later. Especially with ability thresholds, being lower than 99 is even more detrimental than it was in previous games. I’d rather there be 100 99 cards and there actually be a bit of variety in competitive players, rather than there be 10 99s and every team be exactly the same.
EA is making cards lower for longer this year, that would be like releasing 32 99s when there is only 10 or 15 in the game rn
