I haven’t tried 3-4 with my Seahawks TT With the LBs we have, Randle, Richardson and Clowney at an end in Nickel, I get to use Aaron Donald as one of my fav players. Hoping this Freeney with his speed is comparable since he lacks ADs strength.
I'll just tell you from personal experience putting Clowney at DE he doesnt play anywhere near his potential (at least for me) and with the LBs we have 3-4 is vastly superior. If you even bother to have Clowney you should do 3-4. K.J is great and all but hes too slow to be an every down player in a 4-3 defense and is better in a backup role to sub in (in 4-3 if Hes an every down guy for you and your opponent has any speed, any smart player will abuse that matchup), also with the Seahawks having all the MLBs they do, 3-4 actually takes advantage of that so you can have Lofa and Bobby out there together in the middle.
Also, please tell me you arent playing Clowney at ROLB in 4-3 packages? Lol
