The "Any Geode" is filled first. Say, you have purple x 5, blue x8 and green x16. This will not complete using the auto-add feature. Purple x5 and blue x 2 will go to "any geode" first. Then you have blue and green are filled, but purple is empty.
In other words, your purple will always be used first for "any Geode" slot by using the auto-add feature. Once you complete a few times, you get yourselves in trouble.
I wasn’t going to use the set because I don’t want to waste geodes, but this point here is even more significant. I really don’t think there’s any advantage, then, to this set.
^ spot on. A clear example of someone trying to be too clever in designing something that should be useful. Having the the last part of the set destroys any usefulness the set may have had.
If EA actually played their own game they would realise how badly that set has been designed.
E- (didn’t get an F as they tried - but failed miserably)
Yeah the set is a little shady but I am only going for maybe 1-2 players IF AEs or something better are released. If not this promo is even more of a fail. So 1 extra does not bother me. Now the auto fill is kind of crap though. I did not realize this till it was too late the first go lol.
This is so true, and it's been a problem all year.
I really wish they'd code it different so that auto-fill would fill the slots that have to have a certain item first, and then fill the any item slots last.
There is a bigger issue with this set.
