Exactly how MLB The Show works. It allows there to be a much bigger gap between players that are good and great. Also its kinda dumb at the end of the mut year when pretty much every card has 99s across all their stat lines
Back when the stats went over 99 they didn't work. They stopped doing it because they could have gotten in a lot of legal trouble over it. It works now so I don't know why those cowards just don't do it.
I think they will release them over 99 after the SB so the SB MVP will be first 100 powered up then I think stats will be able to exceed 99 for all cards
It kinda pisses me off that they are releasing cards with this high of stats this early, while not letting overalls go over 100.
Overalls need to max out with 99 but I think over 100 stats are cool
