Why not? It's not like Green Bay hasn't had ample opportunities. Wasn't yesterday their 4th loss in a conference finals in the Rodgers era? You know two of those losses were to teams Brady and the Patriots went on to beat in the Super Bowl so it's not like Rodgers played tougher competition either.
At one point in time the narrative was the defense carried Brady, then it was the competition sucked, now it's just he gets lucky. Just keep moving the goalposts. Like when people believed the Gods lived on Mount Olympus. Once humans were able to summit that mountain and saw their were no gods religion moved to saying God lived in the heavens (i.e above the clouds). Then it was among the stars, and now they just say he's beyond time and space entirely. When people just can't live without a certain belief they will just make up whatever they want to reinforce that belief. We call these people clinically insane.
Your arguments suck by the way. Defense gets 3 picks on McNabb. Ok? So is your argument that Brady needed to throw 3 picks as well to actually call that a legitimate win? Then you cherry pick the Rams SB win but leave out all the others. What about the 29 points the defense gave up to Carolina? What about the league worst defense Brady dragged to the SB against the Giants. What about the defense that got gashed by Nick Foles, when Belichick inexplicably benched a season long starter in Malcolm Butler. What about when the defense let Eli Manning go all the way down the field and win it all when the game would've been virtually over if Welker had caught a perfectly catchable ball. The defense nearly gave up 31 points to Seattle before a little known backup made one play. They were getting shredded by Atlanta (granted they stepped it up late in the third quarter but you act like Brady has played on teams with the league's best defense year in and year out). Oh and that comeback vs Atlanta was made throwing to three white dudes who didn't have a single pro bowl between them, with no Gronk. In fact, the defense only held a team under 17 points ONCE in all 9 Super Bowls... And for every mistake another team or player made in a Brady playoff game there is one that Brady's team made, the only difference is they won many of those games in spite of those mistakes.
Also, do you see the hypocrisy in crediting the Patriots defense for holding the Rams to such a low score but then blaming Brady instead of crediting the Rams defense for holding the Patriots to such a low score? Your arguments are so weak all you ended up accomplishing was coming off as a salty, angry little hater. I'm sure you'll be ecstatic if the Buccaneers lose and that's just sad to me that someone would get that amount of joy out of getting to hate on someone. Shouldn't your joy come from positive things you've achieved? Why not find something you can enjoy without having to hate on other people? It's scary to me that people like you might one day raise kids...
