Back to These Deshuan Watson trade reports are just great

Huh? Take it from someone who loves nothing more than Texans misery (cowboys fan) but the Texans just went to the playoffs one season ago and took down the bills. They then went up on the chiefs and had a historic malfunction (who would have though with Bill O Brien as coach). Then fast forward a year later where JJ Watt wants to punch his head coach (same guy who traded Hopkins for peanuts) and here we are. Watson still balled out despite the tornado of ineptitude that was placed around him.

There are tiers of QB's who can win games for their teams, and tiers of QB's that flat out can't. Ironically enough Dak is another example of a QB that can't win games on his own. Someone like Rodgers or Mahomes... you put them on the Texas and they go 12-4 this year I shit you not. Rodgers specifically has historically done more with less than Deshaun had this year.

If Deshaun lands somewhere like Carolina (minus CMC) or Dallas he's gonna be sub-500 again.

The problem with your argument is that it’s all speculative and flies in the face of true numbers so I can’t find it credible. Sorry.

I mean, I can give you true numbers. Let's look at the two years Rodgers was injured, 2013 and 2017. In 2013, the team went 6-3 with him and 2-4-1 without. In 2017, they went 4-3 with him and 3-6 without. It's not speculative.

What does that have to do with hypotheticals with quarterbacks switching teams?
