What other qbs are there to get. Ur options are draft whatever qb is left at 8 or trade for Watson. Watson will require a lot so either CMC or more picks. This is coming from a panthers fan. CMC is easily replaceable, a good qb is not. Aaron Jones is an elite running back and they could just scoop him up in free agency
See, this Panthers fan gets it. Don’t let the CMC love blind side the need for an elite quarterback. RBs are so easy to come by, Mike Davis was looking like an all pro for a few games there. And 90% of their production comes from other players’ contributions on the field!
HaHaHa... I don't think you understand the cap situation with Watson. If the Panthers got Watson, he would be a cap hit of 42 and 50 mill. in 2023 and 2024... the projected total cap next year is 180 mill. There is zero chance the Panthers could pay Jones in the open market and have Watson. Watson alone is going to count for 30% of your total cap... you would have to add talent through the draft, but also trade all your good picks for him. If Watson didn't have the second highest salary in the NFL then this would be a different type of trade. It's literally trade your entire future for 1 player.

Normally yes, but CMC is an exception
No running back is the exception. Especially one coming off a year where he played 1-2 games.
I see the Panthers trading the #8 and next years first for the #3 and draft a QB there.
