he doesn't show up on the stat sheet, but as a rams fan who watches every games, he's the third best player on that defensive line for the rams behind donald and floyd. he just eats up blocks. the guy is huge. and he makes some very big tackles. he's a huge reason why donald and floyd got a combined 23 sacks.
sacks arent everything. Just because youre on the D-line does not mean your role is to constantly cause pressure. With the rams 3-4 scheme is the nose tackle and is mainly there to each up double teams and stuff holes in the run game. He was a key factor in the rams run game this year and was one of our cornerstones on defense. He is slowly moving up as one of the better run stoppng dts in the league
In his two-year career, this guy has 3 total sacks. Is that really a rising star?
In a 3-4 it's not the job of a Nose Tackle to rack up sacks and pressures. That's the job of the 3-tech (Donald) and the Edge rushers.
While I'm not at all a fan of this selection, this man is a very good player.

Lol EA doesn’t use logic when they choose players, they just pick random players. They were better off just giving him a team standout honestly.
