I knew sean. Used to hang out with him when he went to Miami and when he played for the redskins.
In his rookie year (21 years old), Sean was intimidating probowlers like TO and Moss. In his final year he was performing like the best safety in the league. Don’t use his hitting style (now illegal) to discredit his ability to play in today’s game. He’s not lynch. He could cover man2man, stop RBs in the alley immediately after contact, elite range in a deep shell, etc....
Watch the hightlights. Probably the best college safety, ever. 2 interceptions in the national title game against the buckeyes. 2 interceptions in his first nfl game. 1 man show in the 03 victory over Florida state. He showed up to every big game. During his last year at Miami he locked down Future hall of fame wr Larry Fitz 1v1. Capped it off with a pick on a deep out. A lot of people don’t know that he was even heavier in college. His playing weight was over 230 and he was clocked st a 10.6 in 4*100 relay at that weight.
