Not every QB card is gonna have 99 speed- it's a card for laughs not the no life sweaty tryhards who breath madden who can only be somewhat decent is their QB has 1000 speed (I know the max is 99 speed). It takes more to be a good QB user than just running with your QB every play.
Who runs with their QB every play? Not anyone good. You have 0 chance of escaping pressure with this card. I do just fine with James Morgan and his 86 speed. And even he feels slow. This card was to appease the high school kids who only plays solos or win maybe 12 games a week in weekend league. No serious Madden player at this point would touch this card. And its price speaks for itself
I used this card in online before and he did pretty good. Even if he doesn't escape pressure as well you can still use him to avoid pressure but moving up if you put the right abilities on you're o-line. He's also useful on certain running plays where he's the receiver (like wildcat) because it gives you an extra lineman blocking a defensive back. It's not the best card but if you know how to use him and play your cards right he can be an amazing QB, especially with his height and release it's harder for passes to be swat down. Also In one of the madden tournaments a team won a couple games by running a two QB blast or option using the saints playbook so some pro players still run with their QB every down, even if it isn't your play style it works for other people's schemes and playbooks.
