Packs have always been a bad coin investment, but they’re more worthless than ever right now. Harder than ever to earn packs unless you spend money. All that on top of the training QS pit equates to a terrible, bum ass market
See, someone gets it. It’s terrible. Almost everyone on this site remembers when coin packs were at least a DECENT way to spend your coins. Did you win a lot? Nah, but you didn’t lose your ass. The games been out proper like a month and we’ve gone from 87-88 being THE CARDS to 92’s with no buffer time, packs are ridiculous both regarding price per bundle AND the absolute trash you usually gets out of it. Sets are nesting doll trash 95% of the times… we could go on. Compare the way sets are to madden 25 and even a couple seasons past it and people should be calling for these clowns jobs.
Just saw your join date - makes sense that we have a similar perspective on it.
I remember the days you could purchase bundles with coins and get toppers with them. Could actually make coins by purchasing packs if you did it at the right times. Ive accepted that those days are long gone, but it’s to the point now where you can’t even enjoy purchasing one pack because it’ll cost you 50K and you’ll make 8K back from it.
So now the market relies solely on those that purchase cards. And you can only bleed the same cow for so long.
Yeah… remember when coin bundles were even a thing and weren’t a bad option:.. and even had toppers. Or when sets gave coin rewards and items and made everything in packs valuable… which made for a strong auction house. But nah, we have Clint and the NBA live guy 🤣
The best part of sets was when you needed some specific silvers and golds to complete them.
A new set would be released and all of a sudden the junk in your binder was worth something!
But of course, that would mean people weren’t buying packs, so had to do away with that 🙄.
Oh well. This is just a time filler for me at this point. Best of luck to you out there as well.
