Last year I did the same exact thing as you Did. It was during the most feared promo, I would use the companion app to snipe new cards someone posted for 5-7k cheaper and then what they were going for and then post them back up and make 2-4K profit each one and sometimes more. Made about 2-3 million those 2-3 weeks. Nothing happened until this year I did the same during the first promo and got hit with the auction house ban. It lasted like a day or 2 but that’s it. But I’ve come to the conclusion it’s something to do with the companion app.
Yeah and I see no TOS violation in that, nor do I see any harm in any possible way. I was reselling the cards at a profit, but would have actually made even more had I held them and waited for TOTW to calm down for a few days.
The Lamar 87 did that. 45000 coins all day long when the promo dropped. Several days later? 72000 coins all day. I was buying at 45-48 and selling at 57 instead of holding them. I knew I could make more if I waited, but I enjoy sniffing out the cheap cards.
Yeah same here, kinda nervous to use the companion app now, someone said to me awhile back continue to snipe on the app but sell the cards on your console.
