Terrible selection considering how he's playing in real life. Terrible selection if you ignore that and see that they released a God-Tier player (Simmons) at the same position.

Just gonna leave this here:

He is a rookie relax + he is going to be good. & it's called rising stars for a reason... he is considered a future star & let's be real the entire chiefs d has been bad as of late but watching there games Bolten stands out more then most & has been one of the better players on Defense this season..

I don't care about some meaningless grade. I watch the tape & it tells a different story Bolten isn't perfect but he is better then the grade he has been given.. plus right how he is playing Outside Linebacker in KC his natural position is MLB which is where he will take over next season when Hitchens is gone from kc...

So he isn't a bad player & is faster then people say + this card is actually quite good & more under-rated if you think about it...

Chiefs have two future rising stars at Linebacker In Bolten as early as 2022 & Willie Gay Jr who just returned week 5 from ir so I would say by week 10 barring another injury everyone will see how special he is & he should have a card by then...

Chiefs have some you bluechip players to build around in Bolten, Gay jr, Thornhill, Sneed, Baker Wharton & Sunaders in 2022 it's very possible all these guys are starters... the defense is bad right now but they have some young promising players on that side but they need more & will get that soon.. good luck.

Devin Bush, Roquan Smith, and Patrick Queen are all similar players and were able to play better in there first years. Devin had issues but figured it out in a far more complicated system for linebackers. I hope Bolton figures it out being a Mizzou guy I'm rooting for him. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs didn't revert to a lot of the things that worked last year with the more basic 4-3 with Chris Jones as a 3 tech.

Hes been great in every game that I have watched. Its no mystery Derrick Henry had one of his worst games this season when he played the Chiefs.
