Completely agree. If you play arena for the gameplay and competition...Arena 2 is the best place for it. Best gameplay I've experienced all year is currently in arena 2. Almost all matchups are balanced. Skills become the factor. Super fun. In fact sadly it's the only current place where gameplay feels like it use to feel in previous MM versions. I don't even like to play with my ultimate team in lvl or arena 3 because the gameplay is so horrible and imbalanced. It's feast or famine.....destroy lower overall teams or get destroyed by higher overall teams. No middle ground....barely any balanced gameplay. How can that be fun for anyone? Kinda sad really.
Agree. A2 is more fun. But you need trophies for your main team so your A2 players are usually far below 150. The overthrowing wide open receiver syndrome is more prevalent.
To be honest, I'm more than happy to spend my resources on Tier 1 and Tier 2 players. I'm working to get them up to 150 now. As rub says, Arena 3 is so unbalanced it's the opposite of fun and frankly, I've already given up grinding for the latest and greatest. I'll still collect Rams players but I'm not busting a gut to complete any Iconics. The Christmas promo is boring and I've earned a whole 3 small presents so far. It's just meh.
Give me Tier 1 and 2, where rushing plays (sorta) work and players with 90 SPD feel like they're running at 90 speed, not matter who your opponent is.
I hope they open up a Tier 4 (unlimited) and make Arena Tier 3 a 4500-6000 comp for more variety. Even better, open up a Draft Tourney!
