If you want credit for today (Friday) you have to wait a bit longer. The clock rolls over at 10:30 am, I believe.
If you completed the set for yesterday (Thursday), then that's the reason.
No, the reset for daily objectives is 6-6:30 AM EST. Not sure if daylight savings time affected that or not.
I was able to complete the daily objective around 9 AM EST this morning.
