I believe Frostbite took over the gaming engine in 18, and madden 19 was their 1st go.. it's been them ever since . And that's when the bs really started in my opinion. I been playing madden since 93. I'm old lol

Sadly, the meta stuff will be there as long as ppl can make money off it.
