By "a perfect season", you mean 15th in passing yards, 8th in Comp %, 11th in Passing TDs, 4th in QBR, and 4th in Rating? He had 800 rushing yards and 5 TDs, but Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts had 15 rushing TDs each. Dobbs had more rushing TDs in less games. Entirely too much was put on that 49ers / Ravens game, Lamar was 13-3, but Purdy was 12-4 this season. Purdy also 4th in yards, 4th in comp %, 3rd in passing TDs, and most importantly led the league in QBR and Passer Rating. Purdy literally has a top 10 all-time passer rating for the season.
You could also make the case that Josh Allen going 11-6 with 4 of those losses on the defenses, finishing the season with 44 TDs has a case for it too. People are gonna make a lot out of his 22 turnovers, but Jalen Hurts had 20, Tua had 19, Mahomes had 17, it's really not that far off.
Lamar absolutely will win the award, but it's gonna be the worst season by an MVP winner in recent memory. Don't forget, his backup was literally elected to the Pro Bowl last year, that's how valuable Lamar is to that team and their scheme.
Nothing but facts!! Been watching for over 30 year's and this is literally the worst statistics I've see from a mvp. They kill me with that "he's important to the team " nonsense. Are they saying Allen, love, dak, Stroud and others aren't important to the success of their team?
not really. Lamar has bascially had a perfect season, leading the best team in the NFL

His defense is leading. There are about 5 qbs that had a better season. Allen was on the bench for 3 of the bills 6 losses.
