Sounds like the same way as everyone else, if it's not my team, the underdog story who hasn't won recently. The Lions/Browns/Texans all would've all been insane, but there's still a chance for one of them. I've seen them go 0-16 in person, I was literally at that last game for their 16th loss so to see them win a SB would be crazy.
Brock Purdy should hands down be the best story in the past 25 years minimum. Mr. Irrelevant playing god-tier football, top 10 all-time season in rating / QBR and in back-to-back NFCCG's to start his career. And you know I don't like the 49ers. The media, including guys like Nick Wright have done nothing but dump on him and this story and all you hear is that he's a system QB and he gets zero credit. Again, like Nick Wright, these are the same people with an irrational hatred for Nikola Jokic (look at his takes on him), so I'm not shocked when Ryan Clark, SaS, and the boys at ESPN openly root for and against players the way they do.
