I believe 2023 Max players do not go into the select 2 for 1 set that makes waiting until June make sense. But they do go into the totw token trade in which requires 2 2023 max for 175 max tokens. Still a bit better deal than you would get at a little more than 1 epic return from promo stamina trade (2 --> about 116).
However, this does not apply to 2023 max foils. They still go into totw trade at the same value (2-->175), but for promo stamina 2 max foils = 4000 stamina or a little more than 4 epics (over 200 max tokens at May values). Might be worthwhile to wait on 2023 Max foils and see what June values are.
