This typically happens when you remove (or sell) a player from your lineup that had an active X-factor. If you're able, you can place this card back into the lineup and then proceed to manually de-activate his abilities, before ultimately removing/replacing him. However, in the mean time, you're going to be bugged out. If you're able to disable the other X-factors, eventually the buggy ass game should realize and fix itself.
If all else fails, start a totally fresh roster, which is a HUGE pain in the ass.
