You do as long as you simply go to the solo battles menu once before the wednesday update. It's really stupid and makes no sense but that's EA for you.
So I did go into the solo battles at least once before today.. but i didn't play any of the games. so it looks like you have to complete at least one of the games before the wednesday update to avoid the 0-4
