I’m sorry but Mahomes did not deserve MVP. He won it because let’s face it, everyone loves Patrick Mahomes. Imagine the outrage if Brady would’ve put up 286 passing yards and 2 picks in a Super Bowl and won MVP. People would be enraged. People were even upset when he won MVP in Super Bowl 51 after leading his team back to win after being down 25 points, not to mention he threw for 466 yards, and people were mad then. Imagine if Brady were to only throw for 286 and have 2 picks and overcome only a 10 point deficit. But when it’s Mahomes, it’s okay because everyone loves him. And I’m not saying he’s not a great football player, he is, but I would’ve honestly given Chris Jones MVP before Mahomes considering how many passes he swatted down, he many plays he blew up in the backfield, and how many pressures/sacks he had. He is a huge reason that the Chiefs got the ball back as much as they did in the 4th.
