The value most definitely is there now. With the rise of XP tome prices, you probably get on average at least about 12K worth of stuff per grab bag. For the price of a master, you can get 80 grab bags. 80*12K= 960K. That's more or less the maximum of what you're getting for a master theses days. And that's not counting all the captain and coach badges included.
