During the 2018 combine, 16 reps fell in the average to slightly above average range for a safety (especially for a FS), with 9 reps being the lowest by Kameron Kelly of San Diego St. 16 reps of 225 indicates a bench press of roughly 338 lbs. Pushing 338 lbs. while weighing 198 lbs. isn’t too bad. That’s 140 lbs. above his weight. While being able to run a 4.34 40 along with a 41 inch vertical leap, I’d say he’s a pretty good athlete. And I’m sure he’s even stronger now.
