I like the Jim Brown pick. His style is timeless, just give me the ball and hit them in the mouth. I don't know if he would do well in today's league, defense has evolved so much not just in scheme but even small details like tackling technique. Only other person I could maybe argue for would be Walter Payton. He was a complete package. He was like if LeVeon Bell with the speed, patience, cuts, and receiving talent, could truck like Jim Brown. And also block.
Adrian Peterson (and I say this as a massive Viking fan) doesn't deserve it. He couldn't catch, he couldn't block, and he couldn't run out of the gun. Top 5 RB of all time, but he's unarguably behind Jim Brown, Sweetness, and Sanders. I would put AP in the same area as Tomlinson, Emmit Smith, and Eric Dickerson. An all time great, but not a greatest of all time.
The disrespect to Moss though is unreal. Jerry Rice is the only WR better than Moss. I have a lot of respect for guys that change the game. But there is no way Don Hutson in his prim outplays Moss in his prime if they were both put on a team today. The only person that could, would be Jerry Rice.
