I feel this, a few years ago ( I was on console but relates to this post ) there was so much more excitement and thrill finding a filter that works and being able to flip cards with it. Logging on and hoping there were cards posted was more fun than spamming events over and over again.
For example, there was a collectible for a promo that I would find for as low as 20K and sell for as high as 300K-500K. I only started playing mobile last year but that cannot happen with Scott the Bot. The most AH fun I had was finding a filter but that got dried out within a few weeks. I feel like the filters are out there but you have to look hard for them.
But when it comes to specific players/cards, I completely agree some are near impossible to sell/profit off of. For example the ornaments from the freeze promo last year.
