I asked about this on the MUT subreddit and an EA verified user said that they won't add the secondary position unless pro-football-reference.com shows they've played that position.
I have no idea why they wouldn't turn to official league resources instead of a 3rd party site, but I've given up on trying to put anything sensible in the same sentence with EA.
I know it does. My question to the guy was in reference to LT when he said it needs to be on PFR. Then I pointed out Bulluck to him and he said he told EA about it a while ago. This company is so inconsistent when it comes to just about everything.
Oh gotchu. And yeah I feel you. Besides Bulluck, Strahan played RE in 1994 and DT in 1999. Leonard Williams is literally listed as a DT on PFR meanwhile he’s a LE in the game and has no DT chem. Landon Collins (if he gets a PU) played FS in 2015. Bet he won’t get a secondary position lol. Also EA claims they do these based off PFR, but Evan Engram has a secondary position of WR and nowhere on there does it say he played WR in his career. Same with some other running backs who have WR chem. Makes no sense

Look at his stats on pro reference. It shows MLB
