Can't throw lob pass for over the head of WR in H2H but can in Solos

I can't seem to throw a lob pass for over the head to my WRs for a deep pass in H2H, as it always ends up short and the CB ints.  But in Solo games, I can make that pass all day?!!!

Any suggestions?

After reading this, it just happened to me...the LB was going left and then when I threw it to the right for a slant...that same LB instantly leaped backwards for an INT !!! WTF

My current favorite is the LBs that morph backwards in the air while not even looking to knock the pass to another defender. It looks like the WR is breaking open for an easy catch but they defy physics. I am also seeing a similar physics defying animation from users, including my own, where they are running full speed one way and somehow get the INT reversing direction in the air. Makes zero sense

Usually in this situation it’s a LB over middle who no matter how far in front my receiver is just levitates and catches over his shoulder...no matter how bad they r supposed to be in coverage lol

When i'm rolling out right/left, still throws underneath instead of what I want.  I'll try stepping just left/right a little and see if that helps.

Exactly!! how does a LB jump that high?!!

No clue...and I’m not even talking about the BArrs or shaziers or peppers who have either good height or jump or coverage. I should easily b able to throw over  romanowski or Lewis or other short non-coverage guys

The lob is different from the touch pass. Usually the touch pass will get over the defender. You have to double tap the WR icon you are throwing to.

I’ll have to try that as same happens to me

Run the QB more to the right or left so when you lob it makes the wr slowly cut/fade instead of running straight. Should make it a little easier.
