stud, i always liked him. fast and big body. can be a top 10 wr with a good qb
That's what I'm saying. Fitzpatrick is NOT a top QB, but he is a crafty enough veteran who can use his intelligence to make up for his physical deficiencies, and work with the talent around him. Finally Miami has a coach in Brian Flores who looks like he may have the brains to bring the best out of players, and Fitzpatrick showed that all you gotta do is throw that ball up and Parker will get it. He is 6'3" and has GREAT speed for his size, but on top of that he can also jump incredibly high and use his hands to catch balls that corners have no chance of getting. Can't wait to see what Miami does with QB this year. Still have Josh Rosen, #5, #18 & #26 picks in the first round so they are definitely getting a QB. I'm a big Tua fan, would love to see them take a chance on him despite his injury history. Herbert could be good too. Needs time to develop so bringing back Fitzpatrick would make a ton of sense. He's a better version of Josh Allen on the Bill's, who was good enough to get them to the playoffs when surrounded with talent. Miami has the most picks this year and most free Cap Space, time for them to spend wisely. Cant wait and see what happens this year, but I want to see another good receiver opposite of Parker and them build both lines on offense and defense
I'm a Miami Dolphins fan unfortunately, and life has been rough as a fan. Between being stuck in the same division as the Patriots and having a carousel of GM's, Managers, Coaches and everything else in between, I am not even sure why I am a fan anymore. Players that they draft and then let go off and who sign with another team always seem to find success with the ' other ' team because Miami coaches never know how to bring out the best of their abilities and instead blame the players rather than themselves. The list is so long I REALLY don't want to get into it but just to name one for an example, Jordan Phillip's. He was a 2nd Rd. pick in ( 2015? ) and although he did show flashes of brilliance, Adam Gase decided to throw him under the bus for his incompetence as a coach and just let him go. He walked. Never got a thing for him. Buffalo was wise enough to scoop him up and he is a huge part of their teams defensive success. BUT ANYWAY, one good thing Miami actually did was not give up on Devante Parker, their 15th overall 1st round pick from 2015 who has had a lot of bad luck from injuries. Their patience looks like it is paying off, as he is roughly 100 yards shy of a 1,000+ yards and has over 10 TD's this year. That's not something to scoff at when you think of how poor this team is and take the time to see how impressive most of his catches actually are. Miami was smart sign him to a 4 year/ $40 million deal this year, which is extremely cheap if Miami can continue to get this kind of production from him. He should have made the Pro Bowl this year but due to playing for such a poor team and this being his first real season where he is playing like an all star, I can understand why he didn't get the nod. However, if he replicates this type of production again next year then the NFL along with everyone else is gonna have to start taking notice
