Their stats are equal, just certain stats that they think contribute to their position don’t transfer and contribute to the position you move them to. The stats are the same tho, but for example: Khalil Mack is a LOLB, but he’s designed for pass rush. Although his stats are still the same, certain stats like Speed, Zone Coverage, Awareness, COD, etc. Might not be good enough for him to play well at MLB. The overall for a player is based on the stats that are effective to the position it plays, that’s why a Kicker may have all stats under 80 except for KPW and KAC, but those two kicking stats are what matters to the position overall, so the 99 on those two stats is what makes the kicker a 99 ovr
So once your in a game and you go to the menu to pick a play and sub a player in at a different position it says there ovr is lower. Does this actually lower their attributes like speed, strength etc or is it just because there are in another position. I sub in a lb at de and like to sub my de in at dt but they will go from 99 to 95 or something like that. Are there actual attributes effects by this?
