More Advanced and Detailed Picture-Posting

If you are posting your own images
If you’re on Computer:

Note: This also works on android if you choose the “use as web browser” option

  1. Go to imgur.com/upload
  2. Drag the images from your computer file to the box that says “Drag images here”
  3. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the image
  4. Click “get share links”
  5. Click “copy” next to the 4th and bottom link under “Markdown”
  6. Paste the link into your reply box or post section (where you reply to comments and post threads)
  7. Put an exclamation point in front of the link
  8. Put a bracket, your text (this part doesn’t really matter), and another bracket. Since I don’t do the text part, I just leave it blank like this:
  9. Put the link in parenthesis
  10. Add a “.jpg” at the end of the link, right before the last parenthesis
  11. Click “Reply” or “Post” and the image should show up!
If you’re on an Apple Device:
  1. Download the Imgur app
  2. You may have to make a profile, just fly through that and you’ll be fine
  3. Click the green plus at the top right of the screen
  4. Click the image(s) you want to upload
  5. Click “upload”
  6. Click “Profile” in the bottom right of the screen
  7. Once the image (or group of images) is posted, click the image you want to post to Muthead
  8. Click the arrow at the bottom right of the post
  9. Click “Open in Safari” (or other web browsing app)
  10. Press down on the picture on the safari tab, and click “Copy”
  11. Paste the image into the reply or post box in Muthead
  12. Put an exclamation point before the link
  13. Put a bracket, your text (this part doesn’t really matter), and another bracket. Since I don’t do the text part, I just leave it blank like this:
  14. Put the link in parenthesis
  15. Click “Reply” or “Post” and the image should show up!
If you are posting an image from the internet
  1. Copy the link of the image
  2. Paste the link into the text box
  3. Put an exclamation point in front of the link
  4. Put a bracket, your text (this part doesn’t really matter), and another bracket. Since I don’t do the text part, I just leave it blank like this:
  5. Put the link in parenthesis
  6. Click “Reply” or “Post” and your image should show up!
For multiple images to be posted at one time, just set each separate image link with its own exclamation point, brackets, and parenthesis
