Definitely better at passbkocking that Williams and Johnson, legitimately giving time for long developing S routes. And his run blocking is very good. Doesn’t get outside like Johnson on tosses, but is great off tackle to inside. Surprisingly good for a BB player.

Yeah, he's slow as hell. But he doesn't let go of his man in pass blocking with 99 Agility and 99 PBK. If you can manage to amp up his Impact Blocking, he even throws down his guy and picks up the slack of your RG , TE, or RB blocking.

Quote from khroniso >> I’m running Cannon now, and I have to say I think he’s better than Williams. I’m going to have to adjust my O chems to get the right boosts for him if I keep him, but it’s looking that way.
Cannon's definitely the best pass blocking RT in the game. And because of the Fat Five theory plus his strength+agility combo and good enough 97 RBK (fully chemmed), he still does well enough in the run game. If you get him fully chemmed, he's a no brainer vs Williams. Quote from PowerTeam9800
Was there a LT that people would pair up with Vick back when people would use Vick on M17? Like a chem duo or something?

Lane and Strief.
What is their catch rating?

my line theory goes:
helps a lot to have a fast guy on the right side i run marpet with 2 solid guys to his right and left
i run britt too at right tackle
when you run a run you are lookin at the rg and rt right
hey, speaking of, does anyone need marpet. i got an extra one trade or sale will work
Quote from khroniso >> Who do you run Bruinrogue? Cannon or Lane? Seem to recall you putting Lane at guard or something.
Yeah I run Lane as a guard (and blocking TE) for pulling plays and screens, sometimes for passes as well as RT for sweep/outside runs. Cannon gets the minutes on most passing plays as he's just lockdown as a pass blocker and just fat enough to be a run blocker in short distance unless it's a sweep.

ali marpet is aweful good at rg fast as hell
not sure who works better, him or tas
i think tas had more bulldozer
Quote from samurijohn >> Decastro was good in pass block but Long couldn’t be beat on tosses.
For pass blocking it's pretty much DeCastro or sack if opponent has a jumpthesnap chem (which goes to show how shit EA was in making only 1 99 RG and only 1 with SP). Long's a good mobile guard but I tend to just put a high speed OOP C there (Tretter does fine albeit with low AWR, I'd imagine a Combine Kelce would be superb in the role). Thing I hate about Long is the chems. EA was being stupid as shit. A non-OL motivator chem on an lineman and the most useless booster because every QB has high TAS anyways.
There's really just one 99 RG on M17. The rest are just passable. Just so many deserving of 99 (Lang, Brooks, Marpet, Long, Zeitler, Martin, Yanda). Hell, not even a 99 UL. Instead we get a Motivators Long whose boost doesn't even help linemen and is the one stat every QB has anyways.
But there's some variety in the way RT is set up. For me, Competitors Lane Johnson. That man oh man. 88 speed with Del Rio plus 98 Impact Block?
Pancakes for days. He outran a 95 speed running QB to deliver a pancake.
Look at this, he's already blocking safeties deep in the secondary 10 yards and my back hasn't even reached the line of scrimmage.
I also have BB Cannon and a rare Vet Strief on my roster. Cannon's probably best in pass protection in just manhandling his guy. Terrible at blitz pickup though. Strief is sort of a jack of all trades. AR Jack Conklin fully chemmed goes to a 99 and has some really nice stats when chemmed up. He's a really good bang for the buck player.
