I wasn't impressed with the stats on the diamond, too bad the TOTW isn't available in the AH it would sell well.

Definitely! The first high base elites and video players don’t really hold a candle to newer cards. Another example I believe is the 90ovr video Wentz compared to the 86 overdrive reward Wentz. Newer cards definitely have a better allocation of stat points.
