Please tell me I have fat fingers, and not another EA goof
I've noticed that the last challenge usually takes 30-33 seconds to pop up for my opponent.

No I've had that problem too. I have to tap like 3 to 4 times for it to go through sometimes. I've even had it where it was stuck on the playbook for the entire match. Don't worry man, your fingers are fine it's just the game bugging out or whatever :-)

I've noticed this in live events a ton its super frustrating.
20 seconds to go .. ball spins... 12 seconds you start fevereshly tapping def challange.. 7 seconds.. select play.. 2 sec snap... wide open.. win is your.. tap .. tap tap .. tap tapt ataptapsdjfhaskjdfhaskjdhf fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
