I, like most of you all, hate the drops. Is it a good thing to somehow reduce drops? Yes. However, this upcoming catch boost reminds me of the swiping nonsense for the random tripping. They shouldn't have to introduce a new player mechanic to fix an issue that shouldn't be occurring.
If a player has high catch ratings, we should not have to take the added step of tapping something else to increase the likelihood of a catch. In a game where the AI-controlled defenders make ridiculous plays on the ball, making the user jump through all of these hoops for tolerable offensive gameplay is unacceptable.
