Any HB Off Tackle Tips?

I dread this formation coming up in any run challenges. Seems there’s just a blob of bodies to the left and an unblocked safety shooting in on the right.

I searched for for videos and didn’t find any so any tips?

My line isn’t the problem, all mid to high elites.

Then I swipe up to truck in case there's any contact. If there's a wide open lane then just run straight, otherwise zig/zag a bit to keep incoming defenders off balance and hope for the best. Just ran this using Headliner Peterson. Hope it helps.

Thanks... I dread this event as well! Looking forward to giving this a try.

You can also try trucking the defender coming right for you, or cut back left like Lunee stated

Nice vid lunee. I, along with my entire league, hate hb off tackle events.

Just like any other play sadly it's all go one way and than go another and or zig zag back and forth. The gameplay is really generic and skill moves are useless still even at 85-90 in those attributes. But yeah just like the video, that's all you can do or just get 2 blocks per run.

they should call this play HB get tackled

Lunee has the basic principle down. You have to begin to go outside the tackle them you need to cut it back inside and up. The cutback is key.

On a side note, it would be nice if we were allowed to replay the free events as free again until first win. I’m working towards Gronk but tanked 2 of Rodger’s events and didn’t feel inclined to spend popcorn on a botched event.

What lunee said. Once you are clear of the MLB it’s all green grass.

Yes. Thank you! I’ll put it into practice next time t comes up for free. Don’t want to waste popcorn practicing.

I’d like some advice on this as well. Unless I get lucky it’s very difficult to get enough zones
