So I guess you don’t really have to act like your in a hurry since EA has your back.
Behind the scenes the entire game is a bunch of HTTP API calls (think, "phone home") to servers who record what just happened and respond with what next, so it's just catching up after a score. I haven't and don't care enough to hook it up to a network sniffer like Charles or Fiddler but you could probably see a big burst of network activity after a TD. So my unedumacated guess, it's waiting and playing an animation instead of an NTO.
What would you choose?

This is the absolute worse and I tap my screen harder and faster like a moron thinking it will do something. 🤣
It seems like the diamond safety’s are better but the game pulls the score together.
I have had matches where nothing happens for 20-30 seconds or more after a TD, try winning when you miss 3+ plays at the end
If you spam Hail Mary it really exposes it. It does seem to hold you and give someone a chance for a tactic at the end.
yea not sure what the deal is. seems to "unfreeze" after opponent makes a play so could be EA just trying harder to makes us lose

Anyone else notice this? Are they trying to hold the pace of the game?
