How Long Will You Grind for HOF?

I quit grinding for HOF after earning 82 Michael Thomas and switched to mainly unranked to earn (horrible) OD packs. I've noticed how everyone in my league and most people here loathe OD mode and the HOF grind. With it being a long season, how long does everyone plan on pursuing HOF before switching to unranked or quitting OD mode (or the game)? It is unfathomable to me that anyone could possibly stomach OD mode enough to grind HOF for 11 more months.

I’ve been dancing back and forth between elite III and elite II. I might try to push to HoF but this is my last time. It’s not fun. I spend more time pissed off at OD then I do happy with the game.

I have 173 wins. Since I win about 50% of my matches that’s around 346 matches. At 4 minutes per match that means I have spent around 23 hours playing OD. Yet here I am in elite III still. That’s a day of my life for an almost worthless rewards pack. Screw that. Never again. I’ll play the bare minimum unranked to progress in this game and that’s it.

I have been largely playing OD for the KO points, so most games were unranked.  I realised how close it is to season ending and tried to play some ranked matches.  Usual sort of 50/50ish split, winning some, losing some... then I was forced to update and lost about 7/8/9 consecutively, being unable to score and now questioning my existence as a vertical team.  Seems a lot of people are switching to smashmouth/running more? makes sense, I may do the same.   I know when I get Vick, I won't be opening his pack until I'm decided on my scheme.

Which means I think I'm done long before getting close to HoF.

if there was MC as a reward I would consider it. Not grinding for a card 82 that will sell for 100k or 86 which might sell for 220. No way do I have the skills to get top 100
