Anyone else? (Share your Best Overdrive Story)
I love all the more realistic animations compared to last year, especially the new throw on the run feature where you can actually throw on the run
I like matching 500-700 team power opponents on my alt which has 217 team power and beating them without spamming plays. Currently in gold III and climbing :) Coach Naggy ftw
Today has probably had the best balance I have seen in days...The craziest of games and no wide open drops yet (knocks on every wood thing I own). I just want to ask has anyone had a crazy intense game of Spam in Overdrive. I tend to find it fun using a mix of spam and using strategic plays.
Craziest game today: (We both did a little spam but mostly did a variety of plays)
He got to 1000 within :50 seconds...So I try to spam a bit and run alot to gain those extra few points...He then must have got destroyed by my defense since I got 90 defense points...I start to comeback and get 1100 and in the lead. Then lose by a last second touchdown. However, I only got 5 tds and he got 9 tds and He won by 80 points.... Those counters add up...No mccarthy boost was used which is so uncommon...
Moral of story...Try to find positives in the game even if it gets annoying. If you lose multiple games and do not feel like playing then stop for a bit and if you want to come back then come back.
