Best Vertical TE: Travis Kelce Or Legend Tony Gonzalez?

I was looking for advice about the best Vertical TE’s between Travis Kelce vs  Legend Tony Gonzalez. Which would you keep between the two or sell? Want to see it’s gone is running a dual TE/Slot? Couldn’t find any threads previously

I did the Traing Point exchange for the Gold+ player for 500, unexpectedly hit the 88 Bell card. Freed up some coins

Stats wise .  Zach Miller seem to be the best TE of the Elite 2 group.  I run two TE set , with Graham in the slot.  Zach been good to me.   Really want to try Gronk, but can't afforded him yet .  Wasting all my coins on Diamond Roger.

Congrats, I will hope to see good reviews as I have Gronk rn, would like to hear some options as captain Graham gets more catches in OD than anyone when running 2 TEs

Gonzalez cards have always played well. You can't go wrong with him.

Gonzales looks like a beast. If it weren't for Jesse James (who is a very cheap, good option), I would have gone to Gonzales. To boot, I use Graham, so whoever I put there won't get much playing time. That made it an easy decision to save the coins for other positions.

Quote from harrissirrah >> Kelce was the biggest disappointment for me this season to date. Guy couldn’t catch a cold. Absolutely terrible card.

Totally contrary to my experience. He was one of the reasons why I could reach HoF twice with my shabby f2p team. See my short review above. As for streak routes: this is probably difficult for EVERY receiver unless he outmatches his defender(s) by a huge margin.

I know OP asked about Kelce v. Gonzalez but i wanted to recommend LD Marcedes Lewis. He has been clutch for me. I was lucky enough to snipe the card for 100K

Heard mixed reviews about Kelce, nothing but good things about Gonzo.

☝🏼x2...I have Gonzales and his game play is fantastic.

I was lucky to pull Kelce out of a Zone Blitz pack a few weeks ago. I do play him in the slot as Y Cross is my favourite pass play in the spread playbook. He has been nothing but great in OD and catches a lot of balls - sometimes spectacular one handed catches in heavy traffic or against the flow. Rarely does he drop the ball on contact but that might change with better defenders coming up.

As for the vertical routes he is surehanded when he gets separation. With contested balls on streak routes is success rate is as low or high as with any other receiver. Nothing special here.

I did not have any of the 90s card yet but within the "normal" card range he surely is one of the best players you can get.
