Is it possible to make coins?

At least I’m not alone lol. I’ve never been great at making coins but I was expecting a little more than a 300 coin quicksell and the pity 500 they gave me right off the bat
Live events grant coins, along with overdrive achievement completions, you can get coin vouchers for various amounts of coins.
idk if it’s just me but I’ve been playing for a bit and I’ve gained a whopping thousand coins. Is there’s a game mode that grants you coins?
